THE LIVING SIDE OF THE STORY

More than meets
the eye.

Two complementary methods reveal different aspects of the sample: DNA profiling and viable culture testing.

952 marks represent reported richness. Close-up forms illustrate selected reported genera; their mix, colour and motion are not measured sample data.

16S DNA profiling

A community with remarkable variety.

DNA profiling identified 952 bacterial taxa in sample AF4_1. Richness describes how many distinct taxa were reported—not how many cells were counted.

The dot field represents the reported count of 952 taxa. Its layout is illustrative; it is not an abundance map or a list of identified species.

TRANSPARENCY IS PART OF THE STORY

01 / Chemistry · South Africa+

NviroTek S26/3362
Sample AF4_1 · Reported 10 July 2026.
Elemental nutrient concentrations and reporting limits are transcribed from page 1. Some tests are marked outside the laboratory’s accreditation schedule.

Testhub R2-260701-03
Request Q2-260701-03 · Sample S2-260701-03 · Reported 10 July 2026.
Phosphorus and potassium were reported as P₂O₅ and K₂O. They are converted to elemental P and K before comparison. Both pages were reviewed.

Supplied NGS assessment for M26/9726
16S bacterial DNA profile · 952 taxa; Shannon 4.49; Pielou 0.65.
The accompanying interpretation dates the analysis to 14 July 2026. The two documents describe the same analysis and are counted once. DNA profiling does not establish viability or a field benefit for individual taxa.

The supplied assessment names Microbacterium and Glutamicibacter among the bacterial genera. Close-up forms are representative rods informed by culture-collection morphology records (Microbacterium example ↗; Glutamicibacter example ↗). These reference strains are not additional identifications in the fertilizer. Cell texture, size, proportions and drifting movement are illustrative; the supplied reports do not document cell appearance or motility.

04 / Viable culture count+

NviroTek M26/9725
AF4_1 · Reported 3 July 2026.
Total plate count: >30,000,000 CFU/g, method W101. The lower-bound sign is preserved; the result is not converted into an exact value or averaged with DNA data.

05 / How this collection is curated+

This page highlights selected positive findings rather than reproducing the complete reports. Repeated interpretations of one sample are not treated as independent tests. Missing or less-than values are not replaced by zero. Nutrient results use an arithmetic mean only when comparable numeric measurements are available.

The BIOLOG image identifies a tested isolate presumptively; it is not a fertilizer efficacy test. Its interface inspired the nutrient grid, but its assay pattern is not relabelled as a Magic Power® performance result. Application suggestions in the supplied advisory document are not presented as measured field outcomes.
